About Melissa
Melissa L. Simonik graduated from the University of Hartford with a B.A. in Management in 1996. She received her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law in May 2002. Melissa was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in November 2002 and the Federal Bar in December 2002. Melissa has since practiced as an Associate for Michalik, Bauer, Silvia & Ciccarillo, LLP, in New Britain, Connecticut and as an assistant corporation counsel for the City of Bristol, Connecticut. She is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the New Britain Bar Association.
Laurie A. Funk - Paralegal
Laurie graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. In 1991, Laurie obtained her Paralegal Certificate from the Morse School of Business. Laurie has worked in the legal field since 1993 and is an integral part of the Firm.
